SERVICES & BILLING STRUCTURE

Northrop Law PLLC offers several options to meet your organization’s legal needs: fractional general counsel services, temporary coverage, and as-needed for specific matters or issues.

Fractional General Counsel (FGC) Services
  • Ideal for organizations that desire an experienced, executive-level attorney immersed in the business, but on a less than full-time basis.

  • With over 25 years of diverse legal experience, including as General Counsel, we can provide the day-to-day legal management and insights that your business requires. We can help negotiate contracts and deals more effectively, appropriately identify and manage risk, deal with the inevitable crises that arise, and add a seasoned strategic voice to your team.

  • A flat monthly fee procures a fixed percentage of our time (e.g. 20%).

Temporary Coverage or Overflow Work
  • Ideal for organizations that have in-house counsel, but temporarily need an additional senior legal resource to cover a period of parental or medical leave, to help with a special project or event, or to assist with a surge in workload that is overwhelming your legal team.

  • Can be flat-fee or hourly model, depending on the situation.

Experienced Counsel on an As-Needed Basis
  • Ideal for organizations or individuals that need assistance with specific legal matters or projects as they arise.

  • Traditional hourly billing model applies.
